Ireland and Scotland Pilots

The new edition of David Taylor's guide to the west coast of England, the Isle of Man and the Bristol Channel has been thoroughly updated.

Ralph Morris's guide to the island of Anglesey and coast from Liverpool to Pwllheli was first published over 20 years ago and has always been closely associated with the Northwest Venturers Yacht Club based in Beaumaris.

Martin Lawrence's pilot for the Firth of Clyde and Kintyre and Jura was republished during 2001.

The text and illustrations have been completely reworked and brought up to date and, most significantly, the pilot is now produced in full colour with coloured plans and new photographs.

The last of Martin Lawrence's pilots to the West Coast of Scotland to be revised and reissued in colour, the fully updated text and plans are now illustrated with new colour photographs from sea level and the air.

As they come up for revision, Martin Lawrence's pilots are being reissued in full colour.

This 2nd edition of the Western Isles, which covers the Outer Hebrides from Barra northwards to Stornoway and Lewis, has been thoroughly updated.

All the plans have been revised and are in colour and the opportunity has been taken to update many of the old photographs with colour aerial shots. 

This pilot covers the most remote areas of the west coast of Scotland between Ardnamurchan Point and Cape Wrath and the island of Skye.

Martin Lawrence has completely revised the text and for this edition has added new photographs taken from both the air and sea.

The most significant improvement is the use of full colour throughout the work which brings a new clarity to the photographs and harbour plans.
